What Information do we collect?
Through this site, Riverdale Baptist School (“RBS”) collects two kinds of information: general and personal.
General information is not specific to you and cannot be traced in any way to you. In addition, for parents enrolling children, RBS does obtain enrollment and other personal information through an online enrollment process.

How do we protect your Information?

All supplied sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. Our credit card processor for all RBSchool.org sites is Stripe.com. All transactions are encrypted by both RBSchool.org and Stripe.com.
Yes, RBSchool.org sites use “cookies,” which involves placing a small file on your computer. The cookie assigns a unique identifying number to your web browser, allowing the RBSchool.org site to recognize your browser (but not otherwise identify you) and passively track activities on the site. We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any Information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

The School highlights student participation and achievement in academic, athletic, artistic, community service, and other areas. Parents/guardians enrolling children agree to permit RBS to use, in whole or in part, photographs, videos, written extractions, and voice/performance recordings of the student for educational, promotional, and/or athletic purposes in RBS’ publications, press releases, videos, and Website with or without identifying the student by name.
Highlighting student participation and achievement is often best accomplished when a student is named. Unless a Parent(s) specifically requests otherwise, they permit RBS to identify the student (typically the first name only unless the student’s full name is published in an external article or publication by an outside 3rd party, which may be linked to the RBS website) and/or the student’s city of residence when highlighting participation and achievement in Valley Christian School’s publications, press releases, videos, website, and social media outreach.
